Filipino celebrity Heart Evangelista is showing off Filipino fashion on an advertising billboard at the iconic Times Square in New York.
The digital ad in Times Square features Evangelista wearing a Panda Minaudière accessory handwoven by Filipino artisans.
The digital billboard is in collaboration with sustainable fashion brand Ia’s Threads owned by New York-based Filipina designer Ia Faraoni whose handbag collections are made from Buri palm material sourced from the Philippines.
“I’m so grateful for such an incredible opportunity to highlight a sustainable brand that shows the talented craftsmanship of Filipino artisans,” Heart Evangelista posted on Instagram on January 9, 2021.
Evangelista also shared with Twitter fans the video of her billboard on New York Times Square.

Asia’s style icon Heart Evangelista was earlier named as one of the World’s Top Luxury Influencers by Forbes Paris.
The famous Filipina actress, known for designing luxury bags, has also created a handbag made of Pili Nuts to promote Sorsogon province in the Philippines.
