Pinoy musicians are headlining the Philippine leg of Fête de la Musique, France’s world music day event that simultaneously takes place around the world every June.
Dubbed the largest international live music event in the world with more than 340 cities globally participating, the Philippines will witness simultaneous music stages for different Pinoy music genres spread around public spaces in Makati City on June 22, 2019.
One of the Fête de la Musique spots is the Rock N’ Roll Stage which was one of the most successful stages when it debuted in 2017 but was absent in the 2018 edition of the festival. The Rock N’ Roll Stage will be making a comeback at the Makati Sports Bar in Poblacion, one of the most known party places today.
Organized by Rough Stuff Entertainment in cooperation with SX Manila and Awesome Events and Productions, Good News Pilipinas joins the Rock N’ Roll Stage as its media partner covering the performances of some of the country’s biggest rock n’ roll acts, namely:
• Razorback + Basti Artadi
• Kjwan
• Gin Rum N’ Truth
• Hey Moonshine
• Black Wolf Gypsies
• Whiskey Version
• Ojo Rojo
• Bonifacio Republic
• Spank Me Regor
• Hoochie Coochie Mickey
• Molay
• Severo
• Out of Order
• Elijah Borromeo
The event starts at exactly 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon with free entrance for the public.
What is special about this year’s Rock N’ Roll stage is that it will be held in a building which features three (3) Fête de la Musique stages. At the ground floor, concert-goers can join the mosh pit and have a taste of rock n’ roll. Thereafter, they can head on to the second floor and dance to the Not Bad Hip Hop Stage and catch some of the country’s top hip hop acts. Then, they can head over to the roof deck for a taste of the People’s Music Stage.
