Likhang Habi Market Fair is a yearly project of HABI: The Philippine Textile Council, a non-government organization (NGO) whose mission is to preserve, promote, and enhance Philippine textiles through education, communication, and research.
This year, the fair has expanded as hundreds of weavers, artisans, designers, entrepreneurs, and local brands from all over the Philippines gathered for the three-day event.
With the theme “Earth to Loom: Celebrating Natural Dyes in Philippine Textiles”, the 14th edition of the Likhang Habi Market Fair served as an avenue to promote sustainability by using natural dyes in local textiles aside from highlighting the richness of the country’s weaving tradition.
