Filipino photographer Edwin Loyola has received high praise for his photo submissions in the 2020 editions of the International Color Awards and the GoPix Exposée.
Loyola won the Grand Prize at the 6th GoPix Exposée which honors the use of cameras found in tablets and mobile phones.
Edwin Loyola’s winning photograph of “Harmony” is a display of artfully fanned-out colored leaves. It was named in early May as the 1st place winner in GoPix Exposée Fine Art & Open Category.
Loyola was also adjudged the 1st Prize Winner/Outstanding Achievement Awardee at the 13th International Color Awards that celebrate colored photography while being a platform for photographer exposure.
Loyola’s winning work “Sleeping Beauties” is a photograph of a tangled nest of prettily-costumed performers. It bested 143 entries in the professional column of the People category in the online gala announced on March 14.
Loyola is a highly-awarded and passionate photographer, and he already has numerous awards under his name from various contests: Moscow International Foto Awards, Prix de la Photograph in Paris, the IPA-Philippines, and more.
He also has a large following due to his passion to make the feelings of the two-dimensional palpable, as well as his movement to educate others in the art, seen especially in his Beyond Passion Photography Workshop.
Another recognized Pinoy photographer, Jophel Botero Ybiosa, was recently awarded by Asian Geographic for his wildlife photography.
Carlo Zamora and Klienne Eco won 1st and 2nd place, respectively, in the UAE Xposure Home Captured photo contest.
