Sotto averaged 7.52 points and 4.48 rebounds in the NBL season. Sotto and the Adelaide 36ers ended the season on a high note with a dominant 93-60 victory against the New Zealand Breakers.
The former NBA G League Ignite player was chosen as the winner of the Fans’ MVP honor, presented by Chemist Warehouse, through an online poll on the NBL website.
After leaving the NBA development program, Sotto continued his professional basketball career by signing up with the Australian NBL last year. His ultimate dream is to be the first homegrown Filipino basketball player to join the NBA of the United States.
