Filipino star imports in the Japan Basketball League are set to join the fans’ meet and greet event that replaces the canceled Asian All-Star games this weekend. Japan B. League photos.
The eight (8) collegiate athletes from the Philippines who are currently playing for different ball clubs in the Japan B. League will be part of the online showcase on January 14 and 15, 2022, which is presented as an alternative to the canceled all-star games due to the rising cases of COVID-19 among the league players.
Expected to meet the fans in the live-streamed event are brothers Thirdy and Kiefer Ravena and Dwight Ramos from the Ateneo Blue Eagles, brothers Juan and Javi Gomez de Liaño and Kobe Paras from the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, Kemark Cariño from the San Beda Red Lions, and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. from the National University Bulldogs.
The Filipino ballers will be answering questions at the virtual fan meet streamed live on YouTube on January 14.
The next day on January 15, Filipino cagers will also join the All-Star Quiz contest and Best Player Ranking that determines the Japan B. League’s best players.
