Filipina Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and internet personality Glenda Dela Cruz has received recognition in Indonesia for her achievements, contributions, and innovation in business.
The 27-year-old visionary leader behind the beauty and lifestyle brand, Brilliant Skin Essentials, stood alongside successful entrepreneurs in Asia when she accepted the 2024 Inspiring Women Excellence Award in a ceremony held on June 15 in Jakarta.
Dela Cruz, popularly known as Miss Glenda, took to social media to express her gratitude to God and to dedicate the award to her team, distributors, consumers, and the country.
“I’m a FILIPINA, FILIPINA WINNER! [1st place medal emoji] Thank you Lord for all the blessings. [Three folded hands emojis] This is for all of you, Brilliants! [Gem stone emoji] Para sa mahal kong Pilipinas. [Philippine flag emoji],” the chairwoman and CEO of Brilliant Group of Companies shared on her identical Facebook and Instagram posts that came with a series of photos during the event.
In her speech during the awarding ceremony, Miss Glenda shared her plans to expand her business empire in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
“Now I’m 27 years old, from Brilliant Skin Essentials, we have now Brilliant Cafe, Brilliant Aesthetics and Spa,” she announced onstage while holding a Philippine flag.
“Next month, we will open our hotel and spa in Malaysia; my own manufacturing plant; Brilliant Builders, my own construction firm; Brilliant Medical Group, Brilliants by G, iFarm, and iFuel, a petroleum company. And now, [I’m] starting as a real estate developer in Dubai,” the young CEO added.
The Pinay business magnate from Morong, Rizal, also expressed her intention to penetrate the Indonesian market.
“Indonesia presents an exciting market and we are eager to make our products available to consumers here. We’re optimistic about finding ways to navigate the distribution and legal landscape effectively,” Miss Glenda said.
“Brilliant Skin Essentials is more than a brand. It is inspired by dreams, driven by passion, innovation, and faith in God. Our journey proves that, with great ideas and unwavering determination, success is within reach. Terima kasih [Thank you]. Thank you for this prestigious award,” she concluded.
Miss Glenda, a featured judge in the upcoming season of The Final Pitch: Philippines, now joins the long list of Filipina business leaders who made headlines for their leadership and remarkable achievements.
