Bretman Rock, one of the most influential global beauty vloggers and social media personalities, was voted the “Beauty Influencer of the Year” by E! People’s Choice Awards.
The Hawaii-based Filipino-American bested a tough field of nominees which included James Charles, Nikita Dragun, Nikkie de Jager of “NikkieTutorials,” Jeffree Star, Rachel Levin (RCL Beauty), Desi Perkins and Jackie Aina.
Tagging his Twitter account, E! News reported: “Doing the least, looking the most, now with some new bling to show off. #PCAs Beautify Influencer of 2019 is @bretmanrock”.
The 21-year-old make-up guru on his Instagram account talked about his victory saying “I want to dedicate this award to my dad who has always supported and loved me unconditionally.”
“I love you so much and I will always be grateful for allowing me to express myself and defended me whenever haters said anything. This one is for you Papa. I hope I make you the proudest,” Bretman added.
Rock’s dad just passed away recently. Our deepest condolences to the family.
Different foreign media outlets congratulated the Hawaii-raised vlogger, who is known for his “sassy personality, quirky sense of humor and confident style.”
E! People’s Choice’s is an American awards show that recognizes accomplished individuals in different fields of the entertainment industry from Movie of the Year, Television Show of the Year, Music Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Social Celebrity of the Year and others. The voting is done online by the general public.
The E! People’s Choice awards were given out on November 10 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
