Facebook celebrity Nuseir Yassin has created a page dedicated to his Filipino audience – Nas Daily Tagalog.
Nas Daily Tagalog went live online on September 23, 2019, a few days before the viral travel vlogger came back to the Philippines to create his 4th video feature about Filipinos.
The Facebook Page About section reads:
ANG AKING KWENTO
Hi!
Yassin announced the new page for Nas Daily Tagalog on Thursday saying:
“Dear Philippines, I have good news! After visiting last week, I decided to create a page dedicated entirely for the Philippines. So I put Tagalog subtitles all over my videos – so this way we can reach 100% of the population!
I hope you follow the Nas Daily Tagalog page, PilipiNAS!”
The new Facebook Page now has six Nas Daily videos with Tagalog subtitles. In a caption for his “Mandirigma sa Keyboard” video Nas says:
“Napakahirap gawin ng video na ito, pero naging inspirasyon ito sa akin at sana sa iyo din.”
Nuseir Yassin visited the country on September 27 with fellow vloggers Agon Hare of Project Nightfall and Dear Alyne’s Alyne Tamir for a video project with the Department of Tourism.
Yassin has revealed to media that his team went to the world-renowned Philippine beaches of as Boracay, El Nido in Palawan, Puerto Galera, and even Manila Bay to check out the country’s coastal rehabilitation efforts.
Nas Daily previously released 3 videos featuring the Philippines:
- Day 298 video “How Cheap is the Philippines” was the first video on the Philippines produced by the freelance video journalist after he visited the country in 2017
- Day 434 video “This doesn’t cost millions” which shows the many tourism offerings of the Philippines and the Filipinos and created for just US$100
- In 2018, Nas Daily again released another video titled “The Most Lovable Country!” showing how Filipinos warmly welcome strangers to their homes and lives.
