Ayala Land is dazzling Manila with its renowned Festival of Lights 2023 and Good News Pilipinas was there to witness its launch. Themed “Christmas Nights with Countless Lights”, this year’s festival expands its reach within the Ayala Triangle Gardens, promising an even more enchanting experience for all.
Launched on November 14, the annual Festival of Lights offers a program of three lights and sound shows accompanied by uniquely interpreted holiday music, as well as new installations and interactive booths with fun games and prizes.
Spectacular Attractions and Interactive Displays
The festival’s highlight is the “Kaleidoscope of Sight, Sound, and Light” show. Directed by Ohm David, it incorporates cutting-edge mappable LED lights and interactive floor projections that will mesmerize visitors of all ages. These projections, crafted by Kroma (formerly Globe Studios), include playful butterflies that seem to dance around the garden.
The light show is a medley of themes:
- “Paskong Pinoy” showcases traditional Filipino Christmas carols, arranged by Arvy Dimaculangan and featuring songs by Ryan Cayabyab.

- “Cosmic K-Pop Christmas”, composed by Jazz Nicolas and Mikey Amistoso, brings a vibrant K-Pop concert vibe to the gardens.

New Installations: Wishes and Solar-Powered Art
“Wish Upon a Light”, set in the garden’s northern part, allows visitors to digitally write their Christmas wishes, displayed on a glowing green wall. Another notable addition is the “Liter of Light” art installation by Arte House, Leeroy New, and Illac Diaz. This environmentally conscious piece features recycled solar-powered water bottles, lighting up the “Christmas Trail” and highlighting a compelling story of innovation.
