Filipina musical theatre actress Eva Noblezada received a 2019 Tony nomination for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her performance in the new musical, Hadestown.
The nomination is Noblezada’s second time to earn the recognition from the American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards after her first in 2017 as Kim in Miss Saigon.
The Tony Awards announcement released on April 30 lists Noblezada’s citation as young dreamer Eurydice to her partner Orpheus.
