The Philippines’ Enchanted Kingdom (EK) in Sta. Rosa, Laguna is set to bring magic again when it reopens this October.
The world-class theme park that offered virtual rides to cheer its fans while under lockdown is finally ready to welcome back visitors to its kingdom on October 17, 2020, after months of closure following the enforcement of COVID-19 safety measures.
“Welcoming you back to our kingdom this OCTOBER! Don’t forget to show your support to our beloved city!” EK announced on social media.
EK shared a glimpse of excitement in a Facebook post on October 9, thanking the successful visit of Santa Rosa City Government led by Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas, as well as representatives of the Department of Tourism (DOT) for safety and health protocols inspection on September 30.
The theme park administration assures the public that the COVID-19 health measures are being implemented in the area by providing handwashing stations, hand sanitizers, social distancing lines, cashless payments, among others.
EK is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary on October 25.
Various tourist attractions in the country were also reopened after months of quarantine lockdowns.
Tagaytay City in Cavite has been praised for being a good model of tourism reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Baguio City reopened with Philippine ‘Jeepito’ to boost tourism.
