De La Salle University-Manila (DLSU Manila) is the Top University in the Philippines in terms of popularity on the social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, based on the UniRank World University Rankings & Reviews.
DLSU leads the country’s schools that have increased their use of social media platforms and other technology tools with the Philippine educational system currently innovating on methods by using online platforms to continue learning and teaching amid the nationwide community quarantine to stop the spread of coronavirus disease.
DLSU’s popularity on the three most popular social media platforms was ranked first among 231 Philippine higher-education institutions that were ranked in the 2020 edition of the annual listing that features over 13,600 officially recognized Universities and Colleges in 200 countries.
The private Catholic school is currently ranked 5th top university overall in the Philippines and 3780th in the world on the non-academic League Table of the top Philippine Universities based on web metrics provided by independent web intelligence sources rather than data submitted by the Universities themselves.

The UniRank Instagram University Ranking based on the popularity or number of followers on Instagram lists De La Salle University in the first spot with over 25,000 followers, based on a sample data set extracted in April 2020.

The 2020 Instagram University Ranking ranked Harvard University as the World’s Top University on Instagram with 1,561,999 followers.

De La Salle University was named the top Philippine university on Twitter with 221,840 followers based on data extracted in March 2020.
