Cebu is opening to foreign travelers and more local tourists with the “I Love Cebu Summer Sale” from April 1-30, 2022.
With the Philippines opening its borders to foreign nationals from all countries beginning April 1, the Hotel Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu (HRRAC) is responding by holding its new travel event to re-energize the tourism industry and boost economic recovery from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nearly 50 Cebu hotels, resorts, and restaurants joining the online sale via Traveloco.ph are offering discounted rates by as much as 70% and various packages for rooms, dining, and wellness facilities.
I Love Cebu airline partner Cebu Pacific is also currently offering various discounts.
E-vouchers purchased from the I Love Cebu travel sale are mostly valid for one year, with some properties extending validity until December 31, 2023, revealed Margie Munsayac, Bluewater Resorts, vice president of marketing and sales.
The Cebu association’s partnership with the Department of Tourism has also expanded the offerings of the World’s Best Islands province to include ecology, culinary, and heritage tours as well as faith pilgrimages.
