Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has launched a Christmas food package drive for the elderly, single parents, and needy families through Young Focus Philippines (YFP).
The humanitarian advocate is continuing her good deeds by promoting an “EXTRA SPECIAL” version of the Christmas food pack she and her charity organization annually give, this time to benefit families badly affected by the pandemic.
Gray, an active personality in various humanitarian works during the pandemic like donating bikes for workers and leading the call to help Supertyphoon Rolly victims, is now reaching out to kind-hearted individuals to donate the cash equivalent to 1 fully-packed ‘Noche Buena’ treat for the poor.
“This year we would like to invite you to join us in doing something EXTRA SPECIAL… 💛💛💛” announced the fourth Filipina Miss Universe on December 7, 2020.
Catriona also posted encouraging words to motivate others to donate that reads:
“With all the difficulties people have been facing during this pandemic, we would like to put MORE special food items in the Christmas Family Food Packages than in previous years. We would love to bless our beneficiaries if only to encourage them in some small way: we’re in this together! 🤗”
The Christmas food pack costs a minimum of PHP750 or USD 15. It consists of pasta, pancit noodles, fruit cocktails, sauce, and many more.
You can choose how many food packages you want to give away this year through Young Focus here.
Catriona also raised PHP5 million to feed thousands of families in Tondo in July and together with Young Focus Philippines, they fed 1,000 families in Smokey Mountain in March 2020.
