Billion-dollar media merger opens for business in PHL

Wavemaker, GroupM’s new billion-dollar revenue, media, content and technology agency created from the merger of MEC and Maxus has opened for business in the Philippines.

Wavemaker Philippines is headed by CEO Malu Vasallo in Manila with a team of over 150 staff, announced Wavemaker Global.

The local office will service a portfolio of clients including Colgate Palmolive, Friesland Campina, Chevron, Pfizer and PLDT to name a few.

Wavemaker Philippines is expected to be positioned as a strong no.3 agency in RECMA rankings. With over 60+ digital specialists and 30 content strategists in the agency, Wavemaker’s strong focus will be on media, content and technology.
