Billboard’s chart-topping Pinoy pop group SB19 is starring in their first short film “Ex-Mas” as a gift for fans this holiday season.
The Filipino idols of the sensational boy band made the surprise announcement in a Twitter post on December 15, 2020, revealing the movie poster featuring all five members Sejun, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, along with actress Jenny Yeo.
SB19 also released the short film trailer for “Ex-Mas”, telling fans who are called “A’TIN” (pronounced as “eighteen”) that they could catch the movie premiere on Friday, December 18.
“Reminisce the good and bad times with this barkada this holiday season with our short film ‘Ex-Mas’ on December 18,” SB19 wrote.

Rose Ariane Lope directs “Ex-Mas” that will also feature YouTubers Yani de Dios and Kristy Cho (Kristypata).
Also known as Soundbreak19, the group is the first to be trained under a Korean entertainment company in the Philippines and has been gaining worldwide recognition since the band’s debut in 2018.
This year, the five-member boy band reached milestones in their music career including their first virtual concert and a new full-length album.
SB19 is the only Southeast Asian act to enter the international Billboard charts for the year 2020. The P-pop group was previously included in Billboard’s Next Big Sound Chart for fast-rising acts.
Forbes magazine featured the Filipino band in their bid to bring Philippine pop (P-pop) to the world.
SB19 and their management ShowBT Philippines have yet to release details about how fans can view the upcoming short film.
