The Philippines’ Bianca Pagdanganan won her first professional golf title at the ICTSI Anvaya Cove Ladies International, the $100,000 season opener of the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT) and the second leg of the Taiwan Tour Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA).
The 25-year-old Filipina athlete dominated the final round of the tournament, finishing 9-under-par with a final score of 71 to claim the trophy in her first professional event in front of fellow Filipinos and earned at the expense of veterans PK Kongkraphan and Pakin Kawinpakorn of Thailand.
The Filipino Olympian went into the final Round 3 as the leader of Round 2 and she never looked back, maintaining her top position from start to finish to earn the $18,000 winner’s prize money at the tourney that wrapped up on February 24, 2023, at the Anvaya Cove Golf & Sports Club in Morong, Bataan.

The first Filipina to top the United States LPGA Qualifying Tournament Stage who turned pro in 2020 said her victory is made more memorable by the fact that it is her first professional title and she won it at home.
“I just enjoyed the moment, the whole experience playing before a home crowd… it’s something very memorable,” shared the Southeast Asian Games gold medalist for the Philippines.
Pagdanganan also said her victory boosts her confidence to face her upcoming tournaments.
“It’s a good jumpstart to my year…I feel like it helps my confidence throughout the year,” Pagdanganan said in the LPGT post-game interview.
Bianca Pagdanganan will next play the Epson Tour on March 3.
