The Philippines’ representative, Lyja Zhaina Santiago, has made the Filipino pageant community and the country proud after winning the Miss Pre Teen Global 2025 in Malaysia.
The Batangueña beauty from Lipa City outshone candidates from various countries to claim the crown for the Philippines at the 3rd edition of the Kids & Teens Pageant Global, held at Galaxy Banquet Hall in Kuala Lumpur on February 8.
Aside from winning the crown and title, Santiago also received several major and special awards in the competition, including:
- Best National Costume
- Best Introduction Video
- Best Talent Award
- Best In Resorts Wear
- Best In Sportswear
- Best In Evening Gown
- Best Welcoming Dinner Outfit
- Most Fashionista Award

Meanwhile, under the guidance of National Director Annabelle Balala of D’Manila Stylist Philippines, three other young Filipina candidates earned placements in various categories.
- Little Miss Global 2nd Runner-Up – Louise Nicole Rosit Calabroso (Cebu)
- Mini Miss Global 3rd Runner-Up – Angel Khate Barinque (Batangas)
- Mini Miss Global Rising Star – Hanna Gen Suwa (Cebu)

In December 2024, Santiago’s fellow Batangueña, Liana Rose Barrido, secured the Philippines’ sixth Miss Tourism International crown in a pageant held in Malaysia.
Just this February 9, Dia Mate of Cavite continued the winning streak by claiming the country’s second Reina Hispanoamericana crown in Bolivia.
