The Ayala Museum in Makati is celebrating National Arts Month this February 2022 by waiving its admission fee for teachers.
The Ayala Museum, which late last year reopened after two years of renovation, announced that it is offering free admission to vaccinated educators starting today, February 9 to 11, and from February 16 to 18.
The newly renovated museum requires visits to be booked in advance, as well as a valid teacher’s ID and vaccination card upon entry.
The announcement posted on the museum’s Facebook page said that the museum’s free entrance is “a show of gratitude for the tireless efforts” of teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here’s how to avail of free admission at the Ayala Museum:
- Book a visit to the Ayala Museum through its website. Click “Book museum tickets.”
- Choose the date and time of your preferred visit.
- Click on the “Detailed checkout page” option and enter the promo code AMTeach1.22 for visits from February 9 to 11. The code for the next dates will be announced on February 14.
In response to the global pandemic and to ensure guests will feel both inspired and safe when visiting, operational adjustments and safety protocols have also been adopted at the Ayala Museum.
All guests visiting the museum and library, regardless of age, must be fully vaccinated and will have to provide proof of vaccination upon entry for the safety of all visitors and staff.
The Ayala Museum and Filipinas Heritage Library were jointly awarded in the Leading Culture Destinations Awards – dubbed the “Oscars for Museums” – for best practices as a destination that influences and empowers visitors in 2018.
