Makati’s New Year’s Eve celebration welcoming 2026 drew an estimated 64,000 live attendees along Ayala Avenue and reached more than 14 million people worldwide, based on official post-event figures released on January 4 by Make It Makati.

According to the official summary, the celebration featured seven main acts, one front act, and two DJ sets, involving 150 artists and creatives across six hours of live performances and 48 songs. Organizers also reported 20 dedicated zones designed to accommodate different audience groups, including seniors, persons with disabilities, families with children, and seated viewing areas.

A highlight of the evening was a 15-minute uninterrupted fireworks display, choreographed to commissioned music and supported by more than 3,500 aerial and frontline shots, lighting up the Makati skyline at midnight.

The event’s reach extended beyond those physically present. Official figures show a total reach of 8.4 million across digital platforms, with millions of video views, livestream watchers, and online engagements recorded following the countdown.

The large-scale production was supported by the local government of Makati and partner organizations, with organizers noting the role of coordinated safety, infrastructure, and crowd management efforts in ensuring a smooth and orderly celebration.
