Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), the University of Santo Tomas (UST), De La Salle University (DLSU), and the University of the Philippines (UP) have been evaluated as having the most employable graduates according to the newest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Rankings for 2022.
The four Philippine universities were among the 550 institutions rated by the global higher education authority for graduate employability outcomes and prospects for high-quality employment in terms of existing partnerships with employers, the presence of employers on campus, actual graduate employment rate, and the number of alumni who are sectoral leaders.
The QS Graduate Employability Rankings report released on September 23, 2021, is designed to provide the world’s students with a tool by which they can compare university performance in terms of graduate employability outcomes and prospects.
Ateneo topped the list of schools in the Philippines and was ranked 151-160 globally.
UST, the first Philippine university to get QS 5-star rating, came in second and maintained its place in the 251-300 bracket from last year.
DLSU and UP both placed at 301-500, retaining their positions from the previous rankings in 2020.
UP, Ateneo, DLSU, and UST have retained their leadership among the Philippines’ higher educational institutions in the 2022 edition of the Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings.
All four universities also scored high in the QS World University Rankings released during the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.
