The UP Manila Chorale (UPMC) successfully staged their much-anticipated Christmas concert, Nangangaroling Po: Tinig ng Ligaya, Pagsibol ng Pag-asa, bringing holiday cheer to an audience gathered at the Central United Methodist Church in Ermita, Manila.
Held on December 7, 2024, the UPMC benefit concert captivated with heartfelt performances highlighting themes of hope and innocence. Songs rekindled cherished childhood memories while inspiring aspirations for a brighter future.
True to their mission, the award-winning UP Manila Chorale partnered with the Children’s Rehabilitation Center (CRC), a nonprofit organization supporting children with physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs. A portion of the concert’s proceeds was donated to CRC, helping fund their Christmas gift-giving project for children and their families.
The event exemplified the UP Manila Chorale’s commitment to using their talents to serve communities and uplift lives. “The Christmas Concert, along with the UPMC’s past endeavors, are testaments of their passion to give back to the community that supported them to victory wherever they go. It is their life-long purpose to honor God and the Filipino people through melodies that inspire locally and internationally, indeed serving as the voice of UP Manila to the world,” shared the group.
