In this PsTV5+ Barangay New Zealand episode, Pia and Jace interview Flores de MUSA New Zealand model advocate Alpha Tan, an employment advocate for mental health & at-risk communities, singer-songwriter, and Ms. New Zealand 2023 Finalist.
The 25-year-old Alpha Tan from Hamilton is Filipino by blood but New Zealand born. Alpha graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor in Science, majoring in Cellular and Molecular Biology, minoring in Biochemistry with her interests lying in food waste and food poverty. She loves to compose songs on the piano and guitar and is currently working towards her Black Belt in Jushin-Ryu Karate.
In this episode, Alpha Tan sings a sample of her original song, In Your Light, for her charity event.
