Filipina beauty queen Leren Mae Bautista has been featured on a digital billboard in New York for print and online publication Pinay Magazine.
The 28-year-old Pinay beauty from Laguna shared on Instagram the good news that her photo taken by Mark Nieto Diaz for Pinay Magazine has been displayed in the famed Times Square.
“We made it to Times Square, NYC! @pinaymagazine made this dream possible,” Bautista wrote on her IG post on June 26, 2021, that came with a video and photo of the digital billboard.
She then expressed her gratitude to all those who made this dream of hers come true including the fashion designer Renee Salud, the Department of Tourism, and the Tourism Promotional Board.
“I humbly thank everyone behind this milestone. Dati pangarap ko lang makapunta ng New York to perform and show my talent and it happened because of Mama @themamarenee18, DOT AND TPB,” the reigning Binibining Pilipinas-Globe said.
“Now, I have my face up on one of Times Square’s billboards and it is because of @pinaymagazine who believed in me. Maraming marami Salamat PINAY MAGAZINE, Sir Jay and team,” she added.
“When the time is right, the Universe will let it happen. Thank you Lord for all the blessings,” the Pinay beauty queen concluded.
Leren now joins the list of Filipino celebrities who were featured on a digital billboard in Times Square such as actors and singers James Reid and Nadine Lustre, the “Queen of Creative Collaborations” Heart Evangelista, and more.
Back in 2019, the model and pageant veteran brought pride and honor to the country by winning Miss Globe 2019 2nd Runner-up in Ulcinj, Montenegro.
On New Year’s Eve of 2015, Leren Mae Bautista won the Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International crown in Malaysia.
