Filipino champion Joshua “The Passion” Pacio has been named among the Ten Best MMA Fighters in the World Right Now.
The reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion from the Philippines was listed in Black Belt magazine’s December 5, 2020, very best athletes of the year 2020.
The Team Lakay mixed martial arts fighter from Baguio is regarded as among “a new wave of sensational athletes (who) come through and re-shape our perceptions of what martial arts can be.”
Black Belt describes the Filipino champion:

The 24-year-old Pacio is touted as “The Most Dominant Strawweight In History“ for being the first MMA to defend his ONE Championship title twice – he won it in 2018 and went on to successfully defend the belt in 2019 and in 2020.
Joshua Pacio was earlier named in ESPN’s Top MMA fighters under 25.
