OPM icon Gary Valenciano raised a total of Php 1,247,177 in his recent digital concert for the benefit of ABS-CBN’s “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig” for the poor and scholarship fund of students.
Mr. Pure Energy took to social media on August 23, 2020, to post about the success of his “Faith, Hope, Love” benefit concert and thanked all the kind-hearted people who donated.
“On behalf of all those who will be helped by these donations…thank you, mga Kapamilya 🙏🏼❤💚💙,” said the 56-yr-old singer.
Valenciano, who is also a Unicef national ambassador, is one of the artists who have shown unwavering dedication to help the poor families affected by the lockdowns and to provide educational support to needy students.
The “Faith, Hope, Love inspirational concert on August 22, was the second part of Gary V’s concerts that first took place in June with the aim to give hope and spread love amid the COVID 19 pandemic.
The veteran music legend was joined by special guests and talented singers including Yeng Constantino, Kiana, and Gab Valenciano, The Manoeuvres, and Martin Nievera.
The 56-year old singer also did a very special number with his friends from ‘Asap Natin To:’ Erik Santos, Iñigo Pascual, Jason Dy, Jed Madela, Jona, Klarisse de Guzman, KZ Tandingan and Morissette.
