The new educational program Mind S-Cool TV is going live this August to address the need for resources in the “new normal” of schooling.
The Philippine-made science-and-art (S&A) educational TV program was recently launched to facilitate learnings to Filipino students who need to cope with the new modes of learning instituted by the Philippine educational system amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Mind S-Cool TV is initiated by science and art champion Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. (BAFI), which also set up The Mind Museum and the BGC Arts Center in Taguig City, to fill the gaps in education courses across age-groups.
The informative TV show is the first S&A educational program ever made since the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will air its pilot episode with the title “What in the world is going on?” to give insights on the current pandemic.
The BAFI-initiated TV program will explore different topics strongly tied to the K-12 curriculum with the most updated knowledge while discovering their real-world connections.
Each episode is an exciting adventure of the two main characters named “Mind Movers Pecier” and “Mikee” in their Quest to tackle questions, take on challenges, and speak with experts and awesome mentors!
The show will also be packed with rockstar scientists who will showcase construction sites, archeological digs, robot labs, and museum partners around the world during “online” visits.
The two main adventurers in the TV program are both experts in their fields. Mikee is a Chemical Engineer and Pecier is an Astronomer – both resident scientists at The Mind Museum and also known as Mind Movers.
