GMA Network’s TV series “The Gift” starring Alden Richards is set to air in Ecuador in South America.
Telenovelas Filipinas Facebook page shared the good news on June 2, 2020, with a post about the Filipino-made TV series with the Spanish phrase “muy pronto”, meaning, “very soon”.
The GMA Kapuso drama series top-billed by the Asian Star Prize winner will soon inspire the Ecuadorian viewers though the free-to-air television, Ecuavisa.
Ecuavisa has also posted a video teaser on its Instagram account with audio dubbed in the Spanish language. The Philippine teleserye will be titled “Un Don Verdadero” which translates “a true gift” in Ecuadorian Spanish language.
The Gift tells the story of Sep, played by box office king Alden Richards, a Divisoria vendor who lost his sight in an accident but is blessed with the ability to see someone’s future.
Ecuavisa acquired the rights of air the Filipino-produced TV drama through the partnership of GMA Worldwide, Inc, the program syndication arm of GMA Network, and the Latin Media Corp.
