Dumaguete, Bicol, Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan (MIMAROPA) are featured on three new tourism ads about the Philippine islands released ahead of the country’s reopening to visitors.
The 3 new video ads shot and produced prior to the COVID-19 pandemic were themed on the call to “Wake Up in the Islands of the Philippines”.
The wake-up-call ads were released in the days leading up to June 1, 2020, as Metro Manila and several areas in the Philippines shifted from Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) to General Community Quarantine (GCQ) after over two months as part of efforts to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
