Community quarantine has inspired artist Scher Padilla of Chibi Cravings to create miniature polymer clay versions of quarantine food into bag and phone charms.
The Filipina artist-entrepreneur meticulously handcrafted more of her favorite food, this time featuring the very familiar instant noodles.
“I turned my quarantine food into bag charms 😹😋💕,” Scher posted on social media.
Padilla also made a shopping cart filled with mini alcohol, face masks, and mini food.
“Always keep safe everyone and remember, say no to hoarding and panic buying! 😀😀😀 Ingat po tayong lahat ❤,” Scher wrote in the caption of the miniature food photo.
Scher said that she keeps herself busy during the quarantine period by playing with food and mini versions of the food everyone is craving for right now.
Padilla also handcrafted miniature clay versions of typical Pinoy food such as ginataang kalabasa and sitaw, inihaw na liempo, sardines, cornsilog, tapsilog, pancit canton, sisig that she posted on her Instagram and Facebook.
She also has clay versions of our favorite merienda hits such as ube and cheese pandesal, pandesal, puto and kutsinta.
The artist also handmade mini clay versions of our favorite chocolates, cakes, doughnuts, ice creams, and snacks.
From Pinoy food, her menu has expanded into fast food favorites to international cuisines. Not only that the talented craft maker also handmade small choco frappe, brown sugar milktea, mini dalgona coffee, beer among others.
Aside from being a Miniature Polymer Clay Food Artist, Padilla is also a toy collector and a freelance graphic artist.
In her YouTube channel, she uploaded polymer clay tutorials for those who want to learn how to do it.
Padilla opened her Chibi Cravings business in June 2018. The prices of her masterpieces range from P50 to P500.
