Music as a way to express ourselves and our emotions can also be like a bridge that unites and connects people who are otherwise isolated. The power of music and songs can address loneliness and desperation especially at this time when people are physically cut off from other people while under community quarantine.
As musician Keith Richards said, “Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones”, songs can breathe life into people’s lives.
