The successful tandem of Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles in “Jowable” is the Valentine treat of Netflix as the film will be available on the famous streaming site by February 14, 2020.
The movie’s lead star, Kim Molina, announced the good news to her followers in an Instagram post on January 31.
The actress shared the movie’s poster and wrote: “News is out! Your surprise date on Valentine’s Day.. #JOWABLEonNETFLIX”
The movie which stars the reel and real-life sweethearts, Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles, tells the story of Elsa, a woman who is desperately yearning to have a mature and intimate relationship with a boyfriend.
Jowable, produced by Viva Films, successfully made it to the top 10 highest Filipino grossing films with sales totaling Php 105 Million.
The two actors also previously starred in longest-running Filipino stage musical “Rak of Aegis“.
Jerald Napoles also starred in “Mina-Anud” top-billed by Asian Star Prize winner Dennis Trillo and in “Pedicab”, the 20th Golden Goblet Awardee as Best Film at the Shanghai International Film Festival and at the Jury Prize winner at the To Farm Film Festivals.
The high-grossing Filipino film of 2019 is now joining the list of Pinoy movies available on Netflix for online streaming worldwide such as Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi, biopic movie Heneral Luna, and Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza’s Imagine You and Me.
