Filipino boxing legend Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will once again raise the Philippine flag, this time, not in the international boxing ring but inside the famous Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Hong Kong.
Madame Tussauds announced on December 17, the day the People’s Champ celebrated his 41st birthday, that Pacquiao’s upcoming wax figure will be its newest attraction in the year 2020.
The world boxing superstar already underwent the measurement procedure when he visited Madame Tussauds’ studio in the United Kingdom. The fitting reportedly lasted for 6 hours.
Manny Pacquiao is the second Filipino to be honored with his own wax image after Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
Pia Wurtzbach’s wax figure was unveiled to the public in early 2019 at SM Megamall. Details about when the wax figure of the world’s sports icon will be revealed are yet to be announced.
