The Smash Pilipinas Badminton Team captured the gold at the 2019 Sydney International tourney in Australia.
The team won a total of 3 medals – 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze – in competitions held from September 18-22, 2019 at the Sydney Olympic Park.
The Philippine delegation emerged in podium finishes winning first place and third place in the Mixed Doubles among 47 entries from 12 countries.
In the Men’s Doubles, Team Philippines won 2nd place in competitions among 45 entries for 15 countries.
