For his portrayal on the hit NBC series, Manny Jacinto has been hailed in Vanity Fair’s 15 Best New TV Characters of 2017 as the “brightest comedic spot in a cast jam-packed with hilarious talent,” the New York Times’ “season’s M.V.P. as the dopey, dutiful Jason,” among many other accolades.
The Emmys and Golden Globes’-nominated The Good Place created by Michael Schur and starring Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, D’Arcy Carden, and Manny Jacinto, is wrapping up its successful run on NBC Television after it first went on air in September 2016.
Fans of the Vancouver-based Manny Jacinto can still look forward to seeing him soon portraying a different role, this time on the much-anticipated Paramount Pictures film Top Gun: Maverick set to be released in 2020.

The plot of the new film has not been announced but the trailer shows the story still revolves around the United States Navy’s elite fighter pilots. Maverick is the call sign of Tom Cruise’s character.
