Filipino-American comedian Jo Koy has a new show now streaming on Netflix.
The irreverent stand up comedy acts of Jo Koy pokes fun at his Asian-American experiences and Filipino heritage, more notably his Filipina mother’s insistence of doing things “Pinoy” in America. In the new Netflix Comedy Special “Jo Koy: Comin’ In Hot,” his son also gets into the act.
The Netflix show is recorded from Jo Koy’s Hawaii performance at the Neil S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu. Netflix says Jo Koy: Comin’ In Hot “shares his candid take on cultural curiosities, filter-free fatherhood and more.”

Jo Koy a.k.a. Joseph Glenn Herbert was first seen on Netflix on the comedian’s self-produced comedy special, “Live in Seattle.”
“Jo Koy: Comin’ In Hot” launched on Netflix on June 12.
