Three months after Boracay was reopened to the public and world travelers, the Department of Tourism (DOT) has accredited more establishments who have passed the stringent environmental standards.
The January 2019 DOT bulletin identified a total of 307 establishments allowed to conduct business while maintaining the pristine waters and following appropriate land use of the rehabilitated island of Boracay which officially reopened on October 26, 2018.
Enforcement of environmental standards on the island may have eliminated the once-famous busy waters and night life on the white sandy beaches, so Good News Pilipinas has lined 7 Ways to Enjoy Boracay for those who wish to enjoy a more natural feel of the famous Philippine island in the Visayas.
Check out the DOT list of establishments that can accommodate you on your visit to the island paradise which is acclaimed as the World’s Top Island.
