Pinay beauty Maymay Entrata was hailed as the “Princess in the Palace” who starts the year with a positive outlook in the cover story of the 6th anniversary issue of Xpedition Middle East luxury lifestyle and fashion magazine in Dubai.
Xpedition praised Entrata’s stint as the first Pinay to walk the Arab Fashion week runway in November 2018 and announced the actress-model’s feature spread of the Dubai-based fashion magazine’s Spring 2019 issue.
Photos and video teasers of Maymay Entrata on the cover of the Xpedition “Rebirth issue” was heralded as featuring her life as a celebrity and a new global fashion icon.
“She blew everyone’s mind after conquering the prestigious Arab Fashion Week runway with her signature catwalk, now, she begins the new year with a positive outlook, one that is very close to her heart – fashion,” captioned the fashion mag on their Instagram video teaser of the “ultimate insider preview” of Maymay’s backstory as world fashion royalty.
The Xpedition magazine spread features photos of Entrata – who started modelling even without professional training – wearing dresses from Amato Couture taken at the City of Gold and luxurious Palazzo Versace Hotel. Amato Couture is founded by Dubai-based Filipino designer Furne One.
In Maymay Entrata’s Instagram post, the 21-year-old actress thanked everyone who made one of her dreams a reality.
She wrote, “To all the people who made my dreams come true, not just here in the Philippines but also in Dubai. To all the the people who showed me that fairytales exist… Thank you. Thank you po for the experience of being part of @xpeditionmagazine @amatoofficial Family, it will be forever something I treasure.”
Maymay Entrata gained attention in the Philippines as the the PBB Lucky 7 Season winner and has since been doing the catwalk for various designers including world-renowned Filipino fashion guru Rajo Laurel who has said she was his dream model.
