International pop diva Celine Dion is performing in Manila for the first time, and a new local singer diagnosed with first stage autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is set to perform as one if her front act performers.
Star Music singer Lnard Antonio “L.A.” Santos revealed that he was selected to be the front act performer for Celine Dion’s upcoming concert, reports Manila Bulletin.
The 17-year-old singer stated during the MB interview that he is not feeling pressured by the opportunity because he knows “how to stay chill” in performances. Santos had already experienced being the front act performer for Air Supply and The Stylistics.
The ABSCBN talent says he hopes to be an inspiration to others who are also battling ADHD.
“Gusto ko sa part ko na maging inspiration sa mga tao. Kasi usually ang iba maggi-give up, parang di nila ginagawan ng paraan. Gusto ko maging image para sa kanila na lahat ay pwedeng mangyari (I want to be an inspiration for people not to give up, to keep finding ways. I want them to realize that anything is possible),” Santos said in the ABSCBN report.
Dion, the Canadian singer who first took the world’s attention with her performance of the theme for the hit movie “Titanic,” is a multi awarded artist whose career spans 30 years. The Manila concert is her first in the Philippines.
Santos will perform at the Celine Dion Live 2018 concert to be held for two nights on July 19 and 20 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
