The first Asian contestant in the Caballero Universal Pageant is Filipino Andre Cue, the Philippines’ representative to the 2023 Mister Teen International.
Mister International Philippines on Sunday, August 21, officially named Cue as the Philippines’ representative in the 2022 edition of the Venezuela-based pageant which will be held this November in Caracas.
Mister International Philippines only recently acquired the Philippine franchise of Caballero Universal. As a result, the organization said it must appoint a delegate for the upcoming competition.

Andre John Cue finished as fourth runner-up in the Mister International Philippines Pageant held last June 27 at Okada Manila. He was afterward appointed by the same organization as the country’s representative in Mister Teen International next year.
The pageant organization assured the public that the country will still send a representative to Mister Teen International as it announced Cue has met the qualifications and standards set by Caballero Universal and is, therefore, its best choice for the first Filipino and Asian contestant in the competition which was launched in 2021.
“The Organization did not think twice to appoint Andre as this opportunity will open the doors for Filipinos and Asians to show what we have in the international stage,” Mister International Philippines said in its announcement.
Caballero Universal social media has officially welcomed Andre Cue as the Philippines’ first representative to the pageant.

Sending male participants to international male beauty pageants has been a rewarding endeavor for the Philippines, an acknowledged international beauty pageant powerhouse. Filipino men who have brought honor to the country include policeman pageant winner Willy Quinto, the first Mister Working Men International crowned in Thailand, and Dancel Jan Mendoza, Mister Continental International crowned in Malaysia.
