Geralynne Jimenez was supposed to watch Miller’s meet and greet show in Brooklyn in the first week of September, but the show was canceled.
Her family’s efforts to have the young fan meet with the singer were eventually rewarded when Miller invited Geralynne to meet him.
At the personal meet and greet, Geralynne asked Miller if they could sing together. The encounter then turned into a dream duet and resulted in a viral video that celebrates the young Filipina’s singing talent.
Jamie Miller posted the video with a heart-warming caption and it immediately went viral online, placing the aspiring young singer in the spotlight.
“This lil one came up to me in NYC outside my hotel and said Jamie can I sing here’s your perfect with you… My heart is full,” Miller wrote on September 2, 2022.

Miller’s post was flooded with comments praising the 10-year-old girl, with comments correctly pointing out that she must be Filipina given her singing ability.
“Is she a Filipina? Think she is…because us Filipinas mostly are good singers…#proudofyou”,” commented Lulu Lourdes Melo.
“Her looks shows she’s a Filipina… Good job kabayan,” commenter Reyna Magnetico said.

News 12 New Jersey’s interview with Miller and Geralynne about the encounter helped further expand awareness of the child’s talent.
“I’m crying my daughter is really getting notice…who knew it will go this far and even news12 came knocking to interview this little girl,” wrote Roselynne in another post.
“Seeing your daughter on TV and everyone supporting her on her dreams just blows my mind. I genuinely thank everyone who took their time and watch her video and repost; especially all those positive and inspiring comments, my daughter will surely never forget this moment and carry this on,” she added.
Ward also posted thanks to the singer for fulfilling his granddaughter’s dream. “Thank you, Jamie Miller, for taking the time out of your day to talk to Local NJ news but most of all. To sing with Granddaughter Geralynne Jimenez. Well done and congratulations. One of the greatest gifts is a child’s smile.”
In a post just today, Roselynne recounted what they went through to support Geralynne’s aspiration to be a singer and asked for continuing support.
“…if only you guys know what I gone through with my daughter just running around driving far and catching gigs and auditions n some pain I have to tell her if she doesn’t get through and begging producers to give her a chance !! I’ll do anything just to follow her dreams cause I believe in her talent n what she was gifted to do and only took one singer to get her this far…”
Jamie Miller previously sang “Here’s Your Perfect” with Filipina singer and Asia’s Phoenix, Morisette Amon, in a virtual performance for “ASAP Natin ‘To” last year.
The third-place finisher of The Voice UK 2017 had also previously lauded Filipino singers for their abilities.
In an exclusive interview with The STAR, he remarked, “I would say one thing: I feel like everybody in the Philippines has an angel voice. I feel they are the finest singers in the world. It’s unbelievable.”
Miller had also publicly invited Pinoy Pop pioneer Stell of SB19 for a song collaboration.
The Filipinos’ singing talent is undeniable even from a young age. Peter Rosalita, a Filipino boy born in the United Arab Emirates, also attracted the attention of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres after making it to the semifinals of America’s Got Talent.
