The Philippine dance crew UPeepz won the 15 th World Hiphop Dance Championship held in LasVegas.
UPeepz won the gold in the MegaCrew Division besting dance champions from 50 nations.
The new champion dance team is a professional dance group based in the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Another Philippine team, The Alliance, won the bronze in the Varsity Winning Crews division.
The Philippine teams performed in front of a crowd of 10,000 in the international tilt organized by Hiphop International, organizers of US TV hit show America’s Best Dance Crew.
Upon the announcement of winning the championship, UPeepz sang the Philippine National Anthem.
