Travelers in the Philippines can now get hold of a traffic-free way to see the sights of Intramuros in Manila using the GrabWheels eScooters.
The Department of Tourism inked a deal with transport company GRAB to allow tourists to roam around the historic walled city of Manila on two-wheel personal mobility devices (PMD).
The GrabWheels eScooters that were first piloted in Manila will make 30 units available for public use free-of-charge for the next three months within the popular travel destination of Intramuros which was recently visited by lifestyle icon Martha Stewart.
The eScooters promise a no-sweat wheeling that lowers carbon footprint through green commuting using non-fuel motorized vehicles.
To use the GrabWheels eScooters a traveler only needs to scan to unlock the PMD and park to end the trip.
Grab is a transport network company with a fleet of cars, taxis, motorcycle riders, and now eScooters.
