Filipino kids in the Philippine taekwondo team brought pride to the country as all of its members secured medals during the 2019 Taekwondo Color Belt Kyorugi and Hanmadang Championships held in Hong Kong.
Set in Siu Sai Wan Sports Center, the 10-member Philippine team was able to bag seven gold medals, two silvers, and a bronze.
The young Filipino jins’ medal haul adds to the Philippines’ medal haul this July, together with Cebuana jins winning in Korea.
Team Philippines finished strong against competitors from the United Kingdom, Singapore, China, Nepal, and South Korea.

Two-time Olympian Donnie Geisler of the Donnie Geisler Taekwondo Training Center served as the coach and led the Filipino kids to victory on July 1.
