Jobs for 1,000 highly-skilled workers will be added to Cebu’s Accenture operations this year up to 2018.
The job requirements will be in the areas of health management, network services, infrastructure services, finance and accounting, among others, according to Accenture Managing Director Lito T. Tayag who announced the job openings during a media briefing in Cebu, according to SunStar.
Professionals and experts in Java, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft will be sought for high value, non-voice work.
Accenture Cebu services 120 clients worldwide with concentration in non-voice technology. It operates four facilities in Cebu with 5,000 employees.
The office is one of the top 10 IT/BPM companies awarded by the Cebu City ICT-BPM Council for being one of the biggest job generators in Cebu.
Another Accenture office in Cebu City is scheduled to be opened this year.
