Mr. Philippines Dancel Jan Mendoza from Nueva Ecija successfully raised the Philippine flag in Malaysia after winning the Mister Continental International 2019 crown.
The Novo Ecijano pageant titleholder shined among all the candidates from all over the world and won not just the pageant title but also the four major awards of Mister Photogenic, Best in Swimwear, Marcus Marcus Ambassador, and Best Model Award in the coronation held on November 8 at Kota Kinabalu.
The newly crowned pageant winner went on social media to express his gratitude to all who supported him in his pageant journey.
“Before I can’t imagine myself joining an International pageant like MCI especially to represent our country but through the support of my family, friends, handlers and to my National Director, Sir Mervin Alvaran, I made it. I just want to say Thank you to all of the people behind this success without all of you I’m not able to fulfill it . My success is your success,” Mendoza said in his post.
In the same pageant Khwarizmi Ramos Akhmad, who represented Southern Philippines, was hailed Mister Continental International Prince 2019.
Mendoza and Akhmad join the pool of Filipino men who recently won international pageant titles such as Mark Avila of Camarines Sur who won Gentleman of the World 2019 in Indonesia, Valenzuela City’s Willy Quinto who clinched the Mister Working Men International crown in Thailand, and Cebu pride Yves Campos who was hailed Mister Tourism and Culture Universe 2019 in Myanmar.
