Backlane based the results on comparisons of the time it took passengers to leave the airplane up to when they enter their chauffeured vehicles.
The Backlane report is the first worldwide analysis of travel time. It provides travelers data to better plan their travels. Backlane ranked the Manila International Airport among hundreds of thousands of flights in hundreds of airports in the survey conducted since August 2018.
