3 Reasons to Watch Dining With Heroes on Kiwi-Pinoy iChannel2020 New Zealand

“Dining With Heroes” has begun airing on the Kiwi-Pinoy iChannel2020 of Kordia TV Freeview Channel in New Zealand.

The first episodes aired on Kordia TV Freeview Channel 200 had multi content with interviews and news reports. The 30-minute episodes are also seen on iChannel2020 YouTube and has garnered views from Brazil, France, and Germany, among other countries.

iChannel2020 Media Group is an Auckland-based startup offering social media solutions, publicity, artist and event management, radio-TV-film production, and marketing communication.

The group’s primary focus is to be inclusive and multicultural, anchored on over 75 collective media experience in the Philippines and Aotearoa New Zealand. iChannel2020 recently launched Dining With Heroes at the Winternational Fiesta.

Good News Pilipinas talked to iChannel2020 Media Group’s Founder and Chief Diversity Officer Rene Molina about his newest project.

Here are 3 Things You Should Know About Dining with Heroes:

1. We ask the question: Name 1-3 people, living or dead, that you would like to invite for dinner, why them, and what will you serve?

The answers provide a bit of an insight on the character of the interviewee, who inspired and continues to inspire him/her.

We all have our heroes, living or dead. They come in all shapes and sizes. You don’t have to wear a cape to be a hero, most of them are wearing aprons. There’s no need for superpowers either, for their strengths are naturally in-born.

2. We offer a great alternative: positive views, uplifting and inspiring stories.

The show airs a selection of positive views, triumphs, and inspirational stories about the Philippines and Filipinos produced by Good News Pilipinas! TV .

3. It’s a great time to gather everyone around the lounge and dining table, to watch and be inspired by people, events, places, scenarios, and issues unfold right before our very eyes.

Asked why the group is doing this project, Molina quotes a Maori proverb:

He aha te mea nui o te ao

He tangata, he tangata, he tangata

What is the most important thing in the world?

It is the people, it is the people, it is the people.

Dining With Heroes airs on Kordia TV: Freeview Channel 200 at 8pm Sundays in most areas of New Zealand.
