3 Fil-Ams receive theatre excellence awards in San Francisco

Three Filipino-American artists received the 42nd Annual Excellence in Theatre Awards from the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle.

The Critics Circle is composed of reviewers from all media platforms who cover all nine Bay Area counties and give the annual excellence awards for superior work in theatre.

Robert Brill won for his set design on Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations.

Fil-Am Robert Brill, a designer for theatre, opera and dance for over 3 decades, was recognized for his Set Design for “Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations,” a musical about the greatest R&B group of all time.
